The Choctaw Area Council boasts a magnificent retreat in East Mississippi's heart of nature. Camp Binachi has served as our council's cherished Scout Camp for over a century. Camp Binachi has undergone remarkable renovations in recent years, with the most recent major upgrade being the Rush Gordon Dining Hall. The Administration Building and three cabins on the property are currently renovating. Since 2009, we have implemented a robust timber management plan in collaboration with NRCS, Scotch Pine, and Hall Timberlands, transforming our land into a scenic haven comparable to any State or National Park. Binachi Shooting Sports stands out as a premier shotgun and archery facility, welcoming both the public and members to experience the grounds of Binachi. Join us for the joy and beauty of the great outdoors!
The Camp Binachi Shoe, made from repurposed tent canvas, embodies Scouting’s legacy—rugged, storied, and sustainable. Each scuff tells tales of adventure, resilience, and camaraderie.
The Cobb Eagle Scout Memorial Walk will represent the quiet strength with which Justin and Brent Cobb carried out the goals of the Scout Oath and the Scout Law. It will provide a soothing place for contemplation, inspiration, and rededication.
While Justin and Brent's lives ended much too soon, their legacy of lives filled with purpose, compassion, and faith will live on for generations to come. Your support of the Cobb Eagle Scout Memorial Walk can make a difference and inspire others to follow their example.
Honor. Duty. Trust. Loyalty. Kindness. Eagle Scouts live by those virtues and many more. They strive always to do right and make the world better. The Boy Scouts of America Choctaw Area Council presents a way to honor those aspirations and the two men who embodied them. The Justin and Brent Cobb Eagle Scout Memorial Walk will recognize Eagle Scouts past, present, and future.
For a $50 or more donation, you can salute an Eagle Scout with an Eagle Scout Brick inscribed with the Scout's name and the date his Eagle Scout Rank was awarded.
